What is Follo
Follo is a premium GPS tracking solution specifically designed for e-bikes and e-scooters. It provides real-time location tracking, motion alerts, and recovery tools to give you peace of mind whenever you leave your bike unattended.
How accurate is the GPS location?
Under a clear sky, Follo trackers are highly precise (typically within 2–5 meters). However, if your bike is parked indoors, in a garage, or under a heavy metal roof, you may experience "GPS Drift." This occurs because the signal bounces off walls and ceilings. Don't worry—the location will "snap" back to perfect accuracy as soon as you start moving and the tracker sees the sky.
What are the dimensions
The tracker unit is compact and designed to be hidden easily within the frame or motor housing. The dimensions of the main device are:75mm x 20mm x 9mm. The additional battery dimensions are: 50mm x 29mm x 6mm
What is the supported voltage range?
Follo trackers are compatible with a wide range of electrical systems, supporting an input voltage from 9V up to 90V DC.
Why is there an external battery?
The backup battery ensures continuous tracking even if your e-bike’s main battery is removed or flat. It is also essential for certain e-bike models that only provide power to the tracker when the bike is turned on; the backup battery keeps the tracker live and protected even while the bike is switched off and stationary.
How long does this battery last?
Stand by mode: up to 2 weeks Tracking mode: +24h
Compatibility & Installation
Can I install it myself?
While some customers do, we recommend installation by a mechanic to ensure the tracker is hidden optimally and the wiring is tucked away safely.
Does it drain my e-bike battery?
The tracker uses a negligible amount of power. Additionally, our 4G models feature a backup battery. This means even if you remove your e-bike battery for charging, the tracker stays online and continues to protect your bike for several days.

App & Notifications
I just bought a tracker but can't log in. What do I do?
If you receive a "Login Failed" error, it is usually because the account hasn't been activated with a subscription yet. Log in via the Web Portal first to select a plan and enter your card details. Once activated, the app will allow you to log in immediately.
What are "Suspicious Motion Alerts"?
Our latest 4G trackers feature an internal vibration sensor. If your bike is touched, bumped, or moved while the alarm is active, you will receive an instant push notification on your phone.
I don't receive Notifications
Notifications depend on your individual phone settings. If one phone is on "Mute" or "Do Not Disturb," the alert may be silent. Ensure that the Follo app has permission to send "Critical Alerts" or sounds in your smartphone's settings.
Security & Theft
What should I do if my bike is stolen?
Open the Follo app immediately to confirm the live location. Use the "Share" feature to provide a temporary tracking link to the Police. Contact the Police and provide your case number. Do not attempt to recover the bike yourself. Feel free to reach out to us too, we will do our best to assist you.
Can a thief just unplug the tracker?
Follo trackers are designed to be installed deep within the motor housing or frame, making them very difficult to find or access quickly. Even if the main battery is disconnected, the internal backup battery keeps the signal alive.
